This is a cute little chibi of Gaara.
I like the way it looks like he is playing with the calabash gourd that he normally carries his sand in.

The one tailed Shukaku was sealed inside Gaara when he was a child giving him the ability to manipulate sand.

Gaara - Sand Storm

Gaara’s control over sand means that he can whip up a sand storm against his enemies.
Gaara can bury his opponents and crush them with sand. The sand can also act as a shield against enemy attacks.
Even when there is no sand in the area, Gaara carries a supply with him in the calabash gourd on his back to protect him and help to defeat his opponents.
Shukaku of the Sand

Shukaku of the Sand (also called one tailed Shukaku) is the weakest tailed beasts. Legend has it that it was the a corrupted spirit of a sand monk from Sunagakure that turned into a demon.
As with all tailed beasts, it has an intense bloodlust which drives its behavior and it will kill anyone in sight given the chance.
Shukaku was sealed inside Gaara by Chiyo on the orders of Gaara’s father the Fourth Kazekage. However, Deidara is assigned to capture the Shukaku and after defeating Gaara in combat the Shukaku is forcefully extracted from Gaara.
Gaara is killed by this but then resurrected by a combination of Chiyo’s life transferring skill and Naruto’s chakra. Gaara retains the ability to control sand but to what degree remains unclear.

Temari is actually the oldest of the three siblings. Unlike her combat loving brothers, Temari values peace.
Gaara Of The Desert

This is a cool picture of Gaara, who is a ninja from Sunagakure. His elder siblings are Kankuro and Temari.
Gaara was chosen by his father to become host to a powerful type of demon known as a tailed beast at the time of birth. The ceremony resulted in both the death of his mother and the sealing of the One-Tailed Shukaku within his body.
This inner demon, as intended, turned Gaara into something of a living weapon with the distinct ability to control sand, a trait which earned him the name “Gaara of the Desert”.

You can see Gaara’s ability to control sand in this picture. Gaara usually carries some sand in a calabash gourd so he can use his ability anywhere he goes.
When Gaara attacks others he uses the sand to capture and crush his enemies.
